Peripherals Scanners, printers, and drawing tablets are some of the types of peripherals we offer. Major printer and scanner manufacturers that are available include Hewlett-Packard, Epson and Canon. Good printers and scanners are affordable, and we also offer portable drives and storage devices from Iomega, and LaCie. Dreaming of a digital camera? Special Orders Much of our software is stocked because it is needed or required for Auraria's busy students. Often we don't know if there is educational or academic pricing for a product unless we inquire. We will research, provide quotes, and will special order software and hardware in keeping with our philosophy of providing good values for our customers. Just ask! In most cases we can have it in your hands in less than a week.

Purchasing Technology at Campus Computers

The Auraria Campus Bookstore has been providing outstanding values in computer technology to the Auraria campus community for over 30 years. Our goal is to provide students, faculty and staff with the best technology at the lowest possible price. The market for computer hardware and software remains volatile. We are confident that the values here will be difficult to beat outside the Auraria campus community. How can we be this confident? We are able to offer our campus customers special educational pricing on hardware and software. It is a privilege that comes with being part of this academic community, and it's a great deal for you. Educational pricing on software often offers savings of 50% or more, for students, faculty and staff that are associated with the academic missions of college campuses. You get the latest and greatest technology in your hands at a reasonable cost.

Eligibility guidelines and payment:
Students

1. Students must be currently enrolled in classes during the semester that you are purchasing the hardware and software, and should be seeking a degree or certificate.
2. Provide proof of eligibility. Please bring a current validated student ID with you when buying academically priced products.
3. The products are intended for use in an academic setting.
4. Some vendors with whom we have signed agreements also require a minimum number of semester hours, so please be prepared to bring in your course schedule if necessary.
5. Hardware contracts are campus specific.

Faculty and Staff
1. Faculty and staff must have a current contract for teaching on their campus or be associated with its academic mission. If you have questions about eligibility or what is required, please ask a salesperson.
2. Provide proof of eligibility. Please bring a validated campus ID at the time of your purchase.
3. The products are intended for use in an academic setting.
4. Some vendors with whom we have signed agreements require other documentation. Please check with us.
5. If software is being used in a class. Please anticipate your needs and let the department manager know. E-mail emmonsc@ahec.edu. We have students from institutions around the metro area buying software from us, and would like to have sufficient quantities on hand for Auraria students.
6. Site licenses are available for institutions. These offer even greater savings over the purchase of academically priced boxed products. Please email the buyer if you have questions regarding licenses.

Payment Campus Computers accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. We will of course accept cash, but we do not accept personal or business checks as payment for any technology purchases.
